  • Terry Anderson

    Terry Anderson is founder and principal in Conservation Equity Partners (CEP), as well as co-owner and principal in its sister company, Wildlife Systems, Inc. Prior to these ventures, he spent the last 27 years working in the private sector focusing on natural resource management particularly timber and conservation and mitigation banking. In recent years, Anderson facilitated the investment of more than $90 million of private equity into the conservation and mitigation industry; he merged traditional natural resource management and real estate investment with the development of ecological credits. Along the way, Anderson participated in the development of more than 28 wetland mitigation or habitat conservation banks, as well as 41 completed permittee responsible mitigation sites.

  • Greg Simons

    Greg Simons is the founder and CEO of Wildlife Systems, Inc., as well as a principal and co-owner in CEP. He also co-owns Wildlife Consultants, specializing in technical assistance for landowners and other entities. Through these private sector enterprises, Simons has worked in Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Utah, and various foreign countries, including South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, New Zealand, Canada, and Mexico. Currently he oversees hunting and wildlife programs on more than 900,000 acres of private lands in Texas and New Mexico.Active in public policy arenas, Simons has helped shape legislation at the state and federal levels.In addition, he has written more than 75 articles for popular statewide and national sporting and land-management magazines. He is the former President of the Texas Wildlife Association, the current President of the Texas Wildlife Association Foundation, and former Chairman of the San Angelo Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Simons graduated with a Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences degree from Texas A & M University in 1987.

  • Tamara Wood

    Tamara Wood is principal and ecologist of CEP. She earned a Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University and has over 8 years of experience in mitigation banking, applied ecology, and natural resource management. Wood joined CEP in 2019 as the project director and ecologist. Since 2021, she has served as the Managing Director of Ecological Services for Conservation Equity Management, a private equity firm focused on environmental sustainability and conservation. Before joining CEP, Wood operated as an independent private consultant for landowners, natural resource companies, and environmental-based organizations, specializing in conducting high-quality research, data collection, wetland delineation, and generating technical reports. She formerly worked with CEP Co-founder Anderson at a previous firm developing mitigation and conservation-related assets.

  • Brody Capps

    Brody Capps is the Operations Manager of CEP. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Forest Wildlife Management. Prior to joining CEP in 2024, Capps owned and operated SilavCon LLC, a forestry and wildlife consulting and construction firm that provided services for landowners throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. He also worked as a Technical Forester for over four years with Rayonier Forest Resources. Capps concurrently serves as the Managing Director of Field Operations for Conservation Equity Management, a private equity firm focused on environmental sustainability and conservation.

  • Dylan Thompson

    Dylan Thompson is a forester and wildlife biologist with CEP. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry in 2020. Before joining CEP, Thompson operated as an independent private consulting forester for a variety of clients across the state of Texas, such as private landowners, engineering firms, municipalities and environmentally focused private land conservancies. Within the major metroplexes of Texas, Thompson specialized in the biometrics and spatial distribution of urban forestlands to aid in post construction mitigation. Within the rural landscape of East Texas, Thompson concentrated on a variety of silvicultural practices to meet private landowners’ timber management goals and objectives, such as the implementation of prescribed fire, timber marking and harvesting, reforestation, as well as data collection for carbon credits. Driven by the desire and passion to spread conservation values, Thompson strives to continue the management of all natural resources within a mentality focused on sustainability. With a broad range of applied experiences in the natural resource field, Thompson brings a distinctive and adaptable approach to every project.

  • Jayce Durham

    Jayce Durham is a project manager and wildlife biologist with CEP. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. Before joining CEP, Durham worked as an environmental consultant within the DFW metroplex, specializing in Waters of the United States. Earlier in her career, she worked as a forester throughout East Texas, incorporating techniques to achieve timber management goals. Driven by a passion for conservation, Durham excels at conducting high-quality research along with a “boots on the ground” approach. With a broad range of hands-on experience in the natural resource field, Durham brings a versatile approach to every project.

  • Gage Grantham

    Gage Grantham is a wildlife biologist with CEP. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from Texas A&M University in 2020. He brings key experience in wildlife conservation and land management to CEP, having previously worked as an intern with Wildlife Systems, Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch in San Antonio, as well as Square H Ranch.
