Conservation Equity Management Augments Leadership Team

Tamara Wood was recently named principal and ecologist of Conservation Equity Partners. Wood formerly served Conservation Equity Partners as project manager and ecologist, and brings more than five years of diverse experience working in the natural resources field.

“I have been with CEP since its establishment in 2018, and I am extremely excited to help guide the future of the company,” Wood said. “We have many exciting projects ahead of us that will enhance conservation, develop partnerships, and serve diverse clients.”

Prior to joining CEP, Wood operated as a private consultant. She also worked alongside Terry Anderson, founder and principal of CEP, at another environmental services firm he co-owned.

“Tamara’s knowledge and expertise is a great advantage to our leadership team, and I have no doubt that her tireless work ethic and passion for conservation will help CEP advance the field,” Anderson said.

Wood has conducted extensive field work and research throughout Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Additionally, Wood holds a Wetland Delineation Certification, is a certified Associate Wildlife Biologist, and is a Society of Wetland Scientist Wetland Professional in Training. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University.
