Conservation Equity Partners featured in Texas Land Magazine, showcasing efforts in finding new value in land resources

The work of Conservation Equity Partners, Conservation Equity Management and partners at Republic Ranches was the cover story of the 2022 winter issue of Texas Land Magazine. The feature, which showcases the CEP-managed Monarch West Ranch in Val Verde County, highlights CEP and CEM’s innovative efforts to create additional value in land-based resources through the emerging markets in ecosystem services.

As Texas’ record-breaking population growth continues, Terry Anderson, founder and principal of CEP, stresses the importance of proactively working to direct development in a way that reduces negative environmental impacts.

“We want to use the power of economic forces to restore and conserve land—and this appears to be an iconic moment to get some new things done,” Anderson said.
